This page describes the methods of managing the website concerning the processing of personal data of users who consult it. This page contains the information provided in accordance with art. 13 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 - Personal Data Protection Code - for those who interact with the WEB services of LDM - Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory.
The mere consultation of this site, as well as the registration on it, may involve the collection, use, deletion, and, more generally, the processing of personal data related to identified or identifiable users.

Data Provision and Consent to Processing
The term "processing" of personal data refers to any type of operation involving the collection, recording, storage, modification, communication, deletion, and dissemination of personal data.
The computer systems and software procedures responsible for the operation of this WEB site acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols. Therefore, merely accessing the site implies the acquisition by the manager of information and data concerning the user.
In addition, site registration, which is optional and voluntary, as well as the equally optional and voluntary sending of emails to the addresses indicated on this site, involve the acquisition of the personal data of the registered user, such as, for example, the email address.
The user is free to choose whether to provide their personal data by entering it in the appropriate registration forms. Failure to provide data or refusal to consent to their processing may result in the inability to register and, therefore, to obtain the requested service.
Purposes of Data Processing
For all site users:
Personal data relating to site users may be used to obtain anonymous statistical information about the use of the site, to check its proper functioning, and to ascertain any responsibilities in the event of unlawful acts committed to the detriment of the site, the Controller, or third parties.
With regard to users who register on the site:
In addition to the purposes described above, data related to users who register on the site will be processed for the purpose of:
- enabling access and navigation on the site;
- providing users with services offered by LDM - Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory;
- monitoring the progress of relationships with clients;
- marketing purposes and sending advertising material.
Communication and Disclosure of Data
Personal data of "registered" users may be communicated to third parties providing goods/services available on the site, as well as to third parties performing data analysis for statistical purposes, within the limits of the processing purposes described above. This communication may be made to entities located both within the national territory and abroad, in countries belonging to the European Union or outside it. Data may also be communicated to third parties responsible for maintaining the site on behalf of the Controller and under its supervision.
No personal data acquired from the WEB service will be disclosed.
Processing Methods
Personal data are processed with automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected. Specific security measures are observed to prevent data loss, illegal or incorrect use, and unauthorized access, as required by law. Finally, personal data processing related to the WEB services of this site is carried out only by personnel authorized by the Controller or the Processor, or by external system maintenance personnel authorized by the Controller.

In this site, the use of cookies is strictly limited to the transmission of session identifiers necessary to allow safe and efficient site exploration. Cookies are stored on the user's computer and allow the acquisition of the user's identifiable personal data.
Rights of the Data Subjects
In accordance with Article 7 of the Privacy Code, individuals whose personal data are processed have the right, at any time, to:
obtain confirmation of the existence of the same data and know their content and origin; know the purposes and methods of processing, the details of the Controller, and any data processors; verify the accuracy of the data and request their integration, updating, correction, deletion, anonymization, or blocking of data processed in violation of the law; oppose, in whole or in part, the processing of data concerning them for legitimate reasons; oppose the processing of personal data for commercial information or advertising purposes, or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.
